Ram Han is a Korean artist based in Seoul. In her series of drawings Room, she explores the possibilities of 3D drawing when confronted with the imagination. The psychedelic nature of the visuals she obtains is mainly due to the colours she chooses, which evoke for her a certain idea of her childhood nostalgia. The elements that make up the decor are the result of her imagination and the associations of ideas with what she remembers from her childhood room. Everything is fictional but there is indeed an anchoring in a past reality, so that creation is an “empirical fantasy”, like a projection of the subconscious mind in a space, that the movable mind decorates and animates as it pleases.
