In May 2019, the Edinburgh’s City Art Centre will host the first retrospective entirely dedicated to one of the most important British contemporary painter, Victoria Crowe. 50 Years of Painting will trace the rise of this exceptional artist and her evolution through different periods. Crowe’s universe testify of her appreciation of early Renaissance and North European Painting, with a realistic yet symbolic and bewitching atmosphere that allows the viewer to escape from reality.
