Denver’s gallery Anschutz & McCormick entertains an exhibition until March 3rd 2019 about concepts and history of the shapes and figures that Christian Dior’s maison conceived since its beginnings. The place carries a universe between imaginary and industrial codes, while the spectator slithers between the collections on a glittering floor. The collections evoque an artistic nostalgy and a commercial and consumer fever typical of the post-war years, but which still exists today in other forms. One next to another, the mannikins are sometimes hung on the wall, according to OMA design wishes, wearing the iconic artworks and refinement of the french Maison.
