Connor Dudgeon is a creative artist based in Toronto. With an organic approach, his work shows a sense of candidness and trueness to the space and objects around. In the series “Passerby”, he paints a spontaneous and sweet portrait of daily life in Tokyo, focusing on love and loneliness into a big city. “Japan is currently experiencing an interesting time; having such a dense population,” says Connor. “Although it would seem hard to find personal space, the difficulty of making a true connection with others has really grown. This series shows all aspects of this connection; time alone, close friendships and time with loved ones.”
