Aldo Sergio is a painter and illustrator, currently based in Milan. His brush transcribes various scenes such as portraits, still lifes or religious icons that the artist manipulates willingly, thus making the particularity of his approach. Indeed, he likes to pixelate parts of his works, giving them a mysterious aspect that reminds us of pop-art.

Playing with contemporary figures and religious figures, the artist manages to focus the attention of the viewer on a specific place in the painting, full of anachronisms, thanks to pixelation. The boundaries of the real and digital intersect to confuse perceptions, for eyes delight.
