Anne-Marie Filaire is an artist that goes against the current trends, at a time when everything needs to get fast : she chose to capture the never-changing nature through its landscapes.

First in Auvergne, in France, she elected the silent deserts of Palestine and Erythree, where she takes monochrome pictures of human’s impact on its environment. Repeatedly captured from month to month, these landscapes become the reflection of a vanishing world, destroyed by wars and human passions. It is also a dive into the photographer’s intimacy : the landscapes echoe to her own feelings, and the spectator’s too.
