Sean Forest Roberts, artist and director of the Forest Ceramic Company located in the state of Washington, is specialized in the art of ceramics. Having studied chemistry and previously worked in a couple of scientific laboratories, he manages to combine the knowledge with the artistic process. Always looking for new patterns, textures and forms to incorporate into his creations, he’s learning and trying new things everyday.
Fascinated by the random character of nature, he seeks to transpose the concept in his works. By experimenting with various types of clays, the artist is able to create colorful patterns and awesome various forms thanks to a kind of « multilayer » working method.
