With his project « The Trek », Chan Dick, a photographer from Hong-Kong wanted to focus on small details of the human body. He was invited by the University of Hong-Kong to shoot this series of the inside of the body as an « hidden landscape, an incredible sight do behold ». With this zoomed pictures of various parts of the human body like bones, heart, brain, lungs, muscle tissues, skull, diaphragm, stomach and membranes like the Greater Omentum, he’s inviting us to switch on our imagination. To have another point of view on the anatomy. From seeing a flower, a tree or a river valley, this series is pushing boundairies and inviting the viewer to rediscover « our extraordinary body that is a universe in itself ».
