Pierre Merriaux is a Parisian street artist who plays with the notion of ephemeral artworks, in line with the street art philosophy. This emerging talent started by drawing pop illustrations on all kind of canvases, from walls to abandoned furnitures. After creating his artwork, he leaves it in the street after taking a picture and posting it on his son compte Instagram account. Some of these objects are therefore collected by a lucky passerby, some others are simply thrown as garbage. Thanks to his social network presence the notion of ephemeral is, in a way, questioned.
