After Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo, photographer Michael Wolf explores Chicago’s buildings. As in the other series, he aims to bring a reflection on big cities’ lifestyle. His camera becomes a telescope : almost as a scientist, the photographer analyses his subjects, men and women living inside these enormous architectural monsters. Transparent city  highlights the way of living into a stressful metropolis where inhabitants seem to spread a sense of loneliness. By using a zoom effect, Wolf try to replace humanity at the centre on a highly symbolic way.

Find it at the Galerie Particulière, from June 16 to July 28, 2018.
