It is the various landscapes, plant life and daily activities that inspire Toronto-based illustrator Jeannie Phan. Afterwards, the latter adds to her drawings a filter of fantasy, of delicate surrealism, to mix recognizable subjects and abstract perspectives together for a skewed yet vibrant result. With many details and bright colour shades, the artist’ work connotes optimism, imagination and immerse us each time in a different story. While some drawings make us travel to the seaside, others are more dreamlike or metaphorical.

The bucolic illustrations of Jeannie Phan have already attracted many renowned companies and publications such as Airbnb, the New York Times, the publishing house Penguin Books, British Airways or Vanity Fair France. Visit her website and her Instagram account to discover more.
