After Iran and Egypt, Léo Coulongeat takes us to northern Mexico. In his new travel diary, the French photographer fascinated by the great outdoors invites us to follow him on the sacred land of the Huicholes. Through his photographs, he makes us discover local traditions such as the ritual consumption of Peyote, a hallucinogenic cactus favourable to spiritual elevation or the specific architectural features of the region with buildings built in adobe bricks, which remind him of the landscapes of the Middle East. He also stops off at a ranch under construction designed to welcome intrepid backpackers, before embarking on an assault on the desert and its white sand dunes.
