Caroline Walker‘s series Sunset is staging the stereotyped and feigned life of an aging woman from Los Angeles, formerly Miss Colorado, living in Hollywood Hills. The cinematic painted scenes reveal that behind her sport, make up and tanning sessions, the woman is confronted to a great solitude. By doing so, the artist is depicting the ironie of Hollywood’s high society.
