For the fifth time at Art Paris, la Galerie La Ligne will exhibit for the second time the work of Bardula.

Bardula is a pseudonym created by a Belgian artist born in Zurich and based in Bruxelles until 1993, then in New York until 2002 and since then, in Paris. Bardula is the encounter between a goldsmith and an interior architect.

Bardula’s artworks are true light mandalas, hypnotic compositions that show a great virtuosity in working with new technologies but also a beautiful human lack of control on light behaviors.

Geometry in Bardula’s work questions human rationality. Mathematics are totally emancipated from technological control: they seem to exist even without human’s intelligence to create it.

Frames, installations and sculptures are created from digital algorithm coming from 3D and LED technologies.

For this occasion, twelve never exhibited works will be presented, experimenting with LED technology. This year, the gallery will dispose of a three time bigger space. Among the most significant artworks, « Interférence bleue : Hommage à Julio Le Parc » and « Ouroboros ».
