Contemporary artist Baldvin Ringsted has always written and performed music alongside working on his visual-art creations, from paintings to sculptures and installations. Therefore, the influence of music in his work is made visible by the fact that each and every piece he creates is inspired by of reflecting on music or sound. Though we could see his work as being conceptual, the craftsmanship behind all of his masterpieces is always very important, as Baldvin tries to balance the concept and the visual aesthetics.
