The photographer Vitor Schietti is not a magician, but he is very patient. Thanks to light painting, a photographic shooting technique that consists of moving a light source in the darkness while using a long exposure time, he manages to give life to his landscapes that appear incandescent. In this series entitled “Esculturas Impermanentes”, fireworks are used as brushes to draw the shifting contours of vegetation on the Cerrado plateau in Brazil. The artist does not intend to make any biblical reference to the famous burning bush, but only to pay homage to the beauty of nature by instilling an extra touch of poetry.
