For the launch of the EOS M6 camera, Canon chose to put it in the hands of three photographers : Joseph Jabbour, Hugo Katsumi and Raul Cabrera. They imagined four pictures representing their point of view of about summer. These pictures were shown during the Fubiz Talks on September 27th at the Salle Pleyel. Every one of them, in its own style, offers poetic instants to remind the last summer.
Joseph Jabbour offers a minimalist and urban point of view between road and beach, during a journey between Paris and Le Havre in August. He lets a great part to architecture and geometry that are important to him in his work.
Hugo Katsumi chose to take us in the blue of the West French coast between the Dune of Pyla and Arcachon. He caught holidays instants. A moment at the ice cream shop, a family break on a bench, or an abandoned shoe of a Cendrella of modern times on the sand of the Dune. All with the sea as scenery.
Raul Cabrera traveled to Barcelone and in Lisbonne to catch in poetry of the streets and the instants which was offered to him. Photographer reveals us empty streets, the calm of the beginning of August.
