This Side of Paradise is a photographic series created by the French artist duo Forlane 6 Studio. Mathieu and Hortense build amazing underwater installations made of wood. With the help of photographer and free-diver Alex Voyer, they designed this project showcasing two retro-futurist figures inside a monochrome submarine forest under the waters of Hydra Island in Greece. The artists “aim to creatively represent the space below the surface as a vulnerable world that needs to be explored, understood and protected”.
