Pete Souza had the chance to photograph the Obama family during the two mandates of the former American president. He decided to share those memories in a book called Obama: An Intimate Portrait. The photographer could enter the intimacy of the family and capture tender moments of togetherness between Barack and Michelle, and with his daughters. He remembers this particular winter day when Washington was covered with snow. For a day, the White house garden became the playground of a dad and his children. That is the day, among many, that the photographer will always treasure.
