Tim Smith does not come from the world of photography but in this hobby, he found peace and stillness. He first started to explore this new passion in dealing with colors but since then, he has taken an interest in black and white. “Generally I found that in dealing with color, people often want a picture or expect a picture to look a certain way, I think there’s this expectation. In dealing with black and white, I feel for the most part, that expectation is taken away. Mainly because color distract from what is being conveyed“, he explains.
