With his “Air Jordans Project”, Carlos Jiménez Varela drops giants pairs of Nike in the middle of cities. To make these photomontages, this creative director and designer based in Costa Rica uses sneakers’ photos taken from Amazon or online stores before pasting them on royalty-free images from Unsplash, Pixabay and Pexels, selected according to the colors and the patterns of the shoes. His project counts nearly each model of the legendary Air Jordan, and is still ongoing, since Nike releases a new pair every year.
