The Klaus Flugge Prize awards best children books illustrators. 2017 is the second edition of this price. The judges of this year are Axel Scheffler, multi-million selling illustrator of The Gruffalo; Nicolette Jones, children’s books editor of the Sunday Times; Tamara Macfarlane, owner of Tales on Moon Lane children’s bookshop; and last year’s winner Nicholas John Frith. The panel will be chaired by Julia Eccleshare, children’s books editor of The Guardian. The winner will be announced on September the 13th. All the books here are available on The Guardian bookshop.
