The Kurdish illustrator Tishk Barzanji creates surreal urban landscapes in pastel shades. But the message wishing to be transmitted in these works is not so joyful, it is about isolation. The artist has long been locked up in his home by anxiety. So he saw the world moving in front of his eyes, many of his works unveil that. One can observe other influences in his illustrations, the architecture brustalism that surrounded him from his childhood and the colors of Ken Price.
