Société Générale launches the exhibition #LaMêmePassion, a very innovative concept highlighting the excellence of made in France. This exhibition is the first one entirely inspired by tweets, in partnership with Best French Artisans.

This event will present very particular artworks. Indeed, they are the fruit of the collaboration between a Best French Artisan, an authority in his field, and a young apprentice who participated to the Twitter project organized by Société Générale.

This tweet has been published by Matthieu Rolland, 20 years old, chocolatier at Gilles Cresno. He attended the Ferrandi school and the EPMTTH. For this beautiful project, he co-worked with the Cholatier Master Pierre Mirgalet, Best French Artisan in 2007.

Pierre Mirgaler is a virtuoso of chocolate art. He transforms it in an unbelievable creative way and he adds unique flavors, like basilic or tea. For him, aroma are the key. Thanks to his international reputation, his creations are exhibited also in other countries, such as Russia or Japan. For this exhibition, he interpreted this tweet in a crazy way. He therefore sculpted the artwork “The man and chocolate”, an entirely chocolate made statue totally handmade, measuring 2 meters high and weighing almost 200 kilos.

Thanks to dialogue between these two generations, millenials developed their desire to live in a more concrete world, where human relationships are not only virtuality and theory, is inspired from reality. Apprentices are an exemple of digital natives expressing themselves on Twitter and realizing their dreams into an artisan’s atelier.

Artworks will then be exhibited in a symbolic place, representing the excellence of made in France, the Bastille Design Center a 19 century manufacture.
