Belgian photographer Kevin Faingnaert just won the ZEISS Photography Award from the World Photography Organisation for his amazing pictures of Faroe Islands. Hi work was selected among more than 31 000 images submitted by 4000 photographers from 132 countries.
His series Føroyar offers us amazing pictures from this territory located between Greenland and Danemark off the coast of Iceland. Isolated houses, snowy mountains or inhabitants portraits, photographer plunges us in the heart of the life and the climate in winter. Faroe Islands are part of Nothern territories that inspired and make us revitalizing and being focused on the essential, even if we just look his pictures.
