After several years spent away from his homeland, South Korean artist Woojung Park realized that the values and traditions of his country were blurred and distant. On his return, the photographer realized the cultural contrast between modernity and traditions. His Storm in the Garden of Eden series reveals a different contrast, a funfair and a business center, both under construction ravaged by typhoon Kompasu. This series captures the short moment when nature took over in Songdo, “the 100% connected city of South Korea.”
