In his new Filippo Minelli project tries to materialize non-physical concepts.
By catching smoke dissolving in the air, he represents silence, dense and ephemeral at the same time. The places he choses are also marked by this idea of loneliness and emptiness, but also of great spirituality. In the middle of nowhere, in a parking by night, among ruins or in a church, smoke embodies the absence and its vivid colors, a sort of brutality. Indeed, smoke is also the symbol of urban violences and demonstrations.
