The meeting of music and photography is a natural and impactful choice, spontaneous and evident. Indeed, these two arts have as a common point to be popular and immediate : everyone listens to music, everyone looks at pictures. Probably the most interesting aspect, is how these two medias allow to spread social or aesthetic messages in a very quick and transcendent way.

The MMM exhibition is the first of a series of exhibitions organized by La Philharmonie de Paris, combining music and image. This first edition, is the meeting of two personalities : Matthieu Chedid, an artist with a pronounced visual sense, and one of the most important figures in contemporary photography, Martin Parr. In this series, you can appreciate some of Parr’s pictures presented at the Philharmonie. An occasion to pay hommage to two major arts that always enrich each others, making aesthetic criteria constantly evolve.
