The Andromeda galaxy, which is located at 2.55 million light years from the Sun, is one of the only visible with the naked eye from the northern hemisphere and also the nearest of the Milky Way. These fascinating views were captured by the photographer Sandro Casutt all year long, in the middle of the Swiss mountains and of the valley of Vals.
