The design studio Woodlabo creates a brilliant installation called « Eagle », to hommage the first lunar module which took men on the Moon in 1969. Subtil mix of a spacecraft and an eagle, the lamp is characterized by a multi-facette structure. The structure is birch plywood, giving to the object stability and lightness. The light enclosure is aluminum.
Woodlabo wished to recreate the space-mission in a very personal way, by choosing locations close to designers imagination world. The series here was shoot in Turku archipelago, Finland, where all it started for the studio. Designer : Gaël Wuithier, Photography : Alfred Cromback.
