For the Fubiz Talks, taking place on the 22th of September 2016, an artist who was presented many times on Fubiz will be present: Romain Tardy will unveil a bit of the mystery around his numeric creations.

The artists was born in Paris the 23th of September 1984. After completing applied art studies and the Beaux-Arts, he works in different Parisian animation and post-production studios. During this period, he develops his VP talent (ndlr:vidéo-jokey) in France and Europe. His diverse experiences lead him to observe more precisely the complex links existing between sound and image.

In keeping with his artistic path, he founds with three other artists the visual European label ANTIVJ in 2008. This collaboration helps him to push further his reflexion about the projected light and its influence on the visitor’s perception. His style is characterized by the use of videomapping and a specific conception of light which reveals the beauty of a place or an installation. His creations are as beautiful as well thought out: with the poetry of his art, Romain Tardy questions our relation to different societal concerns. His installations have been presented in more than 15 countries, in Europe, China or in the US, or Cuba.

In 2016, his installation OX, dedicated to the DJs and musicians scenography, is one of his actuality. Produced by The Absolut Company Creation and TETRO, the artwork will be shown at the Fubiz Talks. A central screen and 136 LED segments extract emotions from music into lights patterns and movements. The installation was already shown in some events and festivals.

Note that Romain Tardy will be present at the official venue of Nuit Blanche on Saturday October 1st. The OX plant will be part of this event organized by the agency We Love Art. For the first time, a Paris bridge will be transformed into a true artistic experience celebrating electronic music.
