The inspiration of this packaging set is very quixotic: in 1914 in France, Henriette Caillaux murders the editor in chief of the news paper Le Figaro who was leading a denigration campaign against her husband. The news was presented as a romantic crime at the time. The Mexican graphic designers Sofia Villarreal and Cynthia Fernandez wanted to suggest the explosion of feeling because of the taste of the bakery’s cookies.
