Containers are a true symbol of international trade in which China plays a great role. For this project realized in the city of Dongshan, in the province of Shanxi, the cabinet People’s Architecture in a way recycles these giant metal boxes abounding in the country’s ports. The balance of this two-floor composition is bold. Inside, a sort of optical trick hides the main part of space which is functionally divided in smaller niches.
