The first major exhibition dedicated to past photographer Raphael Albert (1935-2009, born in the Caribbean Islands) will happen at the Autograph ABP (Londres) from the 8th July to the 24th September. Titled Miss Black & Beautiful, this retrospective will focus on his portraits of black and British Miss between the 60’s to the 80’s. He also founded the contests Miss Teenager and Miss West Indies, devoted to the Black women’s beauty to which he had a certain fascination.
