Stockholm-based designer Erik Olovsson is the creator of “melting” vases, titled Indefinite Vases.From hand-blown glass, he puts each piece on angular and geometrical stones, of different colors and shapes. He explains that this project explores “the relationship between geometry and organic shapes – transparent and opaque”. Functional and decorative, he considers these vases as sculptures and containers at once.
