Alzbeta Jaresova is an artist native of Prague, who studied in London and Montreal. Her portraits realized with graphite, in black and white and in colors, testify of a big delicacy. Often represented with joint hands, in positions of worship and prayer, her characters seem plunged into an alienating torpor, which dispossesses them.
