Melaquino works in a coffee shop in San Francisco for several years. In order to vary little drawings often made on customers’ lattes, a friend encourage her to add more imagination to these banal little creations. She start to draw little animals like dogs, cat, rabbits and also “pop culture” characters like Totoro, Winnie, BB8, Snoopy or the Minions. She make her creations with a spoon and a paintbrush.
