This month, the Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising of London is moving from its former site in Notting Hill to a larger venue in Ladbroke Grove, and it is the opportunity for all to celebrate the nostalgic power of vintage packaging, and the oldschool graphic design. The executive director of the museum, Chris Griffin, explains : “Whether you’re a CEO of a global megacorp or a little old lady from Bolton, everyone relates to things from their childhood. (…) You connect to things like that in an emotional way, which brings back memories.”

There are 12,000 original items from the history of consumer culture to see. Discover how the well-known brands evolved through a creative use of packaging and advertising.
