By creating collages based on black and white pictures, the Spanish artist Lola Dupre reinterprets her own way this classic subject in a series titled Shrapnel. Her work is made with no alterations and presents characters such as Nina Simone and Al Capone, whose face can be recognized precisely in the middle of dozens of fragments put together.
