At first sight, Jennifer Nehrbass’s artworks look like collages, but they are actually stunning and precise oil paintings. The abstract forms get mixed with sensual and naked feminine bodies (most of whom are Nehrbass herself), sometimes turned in derision. The look which carries the artist is ironic and is a critique of the established art historical and sartorial cannons. She plays with the identities, all her protagonists live adventures and have to find their own way.
