In 2012, thousands of these occupied the walls of the Nottingham Castle. Now, we can find them in an art gallery on King’s Road in London. These colourful beetles came out of Anna Collette Hunt‘s head, an English artist passionate about sculpture and historic houses. Hand-made with ceramic and decorated with gildings, these bugs are arranged in swarms that form wavy and artistic patterns. 4 years after they travelled all around England, these series by the British artist, titled Stirring the Swarm, finally crossed their mother country’s borders to visit the Greek island of Santorini.
