Photographer Nick Brandt is behind a project titled Inherit the Dust where he underlines the fact that the increasing urbanisation of Africa chased elephant, lions or leopards away from their natural environment. Savanna landscapes are today cities under construction. To come to this result, the artist placed life-size portrait of these animals, by respecting the skyline of photographs, in order to give the impression that le mammals are in their original environment.
