Designer Christopher Duffy imagined for Duffy London, the 2016 Edition of the Monolith Table Round, that the design is inspired by the book titled The Sentinel from Arthur C.Clarke, that was the start point of the famous Stanley Kubrick’s, movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. The piece of furniture is made from steel and glass and is available in three colors : black, red and white.
