DU Kun is a painter based in Beijing, fan of music and musician too. He creates uncommon portraits of Chinese rockstars. In his series titled Revels of the Rock Gods, he imagines them as monumental traditional temples that the architecture is inspired by Buddhist and Confucian architectures
