Last Sunday, we learnt with a deep sadness of the death of one of the most influential musicians of all times, a genius of creativity, constantly reinventing his person, his style and his music. Hard to realize the death of somebody who’s eternal. A website, Supbowie, allows to enter our age and know where was Bowie in his life at the same age. Everywhere worldwide, the tributes multiplied, moving and sublime.
Madonna: “Talented. Unique. Genius. Game Changer. The Man who Fell to Earth. Your Spirit Lives on Forever!”, Iggy Pop: “David’s friendship was the light of my life. I never met such a brilliant person.” To summarize perfectly the feeling of this tragedy, Simon Pegg found right words : “If you are sad today, just remember the world is 4 billion years old and you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie.” And when the words miss, some people express themselves by the illustration.
