Sometimes the pleasures in life are simple, as a cup of coffee or tea at the right time. This moment becomes a little more pleasant with PINCH, a simple but elegant tea set designed by Bradley L. Bowers. Inspired by antique clay oil lamps that the designer saw during a trip in Bahrain, this drinkware imitates the movement. The relation between the product and the gesture is fusional, we pinch the cup and lift the saucer. The conception process lasted two years, they needed to develop models of clay, 3D copies and materials tests to obtain a matte porcelain, who allows to underline the curves of the product.
