Known for his wooden sculptures, artist Ben Butler has recently designed a monumental installation at the Rice Gallery located in Houston, Texas. This poplar wood sculpture, titled Unbounded, gathers 10 000 sticks shaped like a complex grid. The title of the work conveys to the idea that “the shape of this structure has no boundaries and fills the room by following its own logic”.
