After their Vilu Light, Chilean studio GT2P created the coffee table Marble vs Bronze that embodies the encounter between marble and bronze. Presented at the Design Miami 2015, this table was imagined in collaboration with New York’s Friedman Benda gallery. To make this object, studio has digitally mapped the veins of marble boards and used these datas to cut pieces of marble at the right spots, thanks to a water jet. To fill these holes, they’ve put bronze in the center and the extremities of the table, in order to extend the corners and the feet.
