Conceptual artist Simon Freund wanted to show his love for industrial design through a chairs series called Shopping Bag. He designed basic chairs to show brands like flags. Among these brands, we find Acne Studios, Supreme, COS and Primark. According to the artist, this work is a personal thought on the relationship between design and functionality, between “the concept of value and contemporary consumerism”.
