Mimesis is an ongoing series gathering photomontages of Parisian photographer Seb Janiak. These images represent wings of insects and especially butterflies that bloom like flowers’ petals. He finds these rare specimens in antique stores or taxidermy shops. He retouches them afterthat in order to make flowers similar to the Rorschach test.
